MODERN EMPLOYEE EMPOWERMENT TECHNIQUES

Empowerment is a management theory that discusses empowering employees to make independent, self-directed decisions regarding their employment activities. The vision of this vision is to develop a more productive, contributing, self-motivated and satisfied employee base within the organization. (Kasanoff, 2016),But the level of empowerment depends on the management styles that the organization follows.
Conclusion

Research has shown that transformational leadership empowers employees to directly or indirectly influence employees' perception of a company's reputation. Transactional leadership, represented by unpredictable behavior, has a significant negative impact on employees' perception of corporate reputation. There is a relationship between employee empowerment and employees’ perceptions of reputation and found that employees who feel they have more ability to perform, or more control in decision making, tend to evaluate organizational reputation more favorably. IN addition, employees' sense of control plays a more important role than feelings of competence in assessing their reputation. About the relationship between leadership style and employee empowerment, the results showed that both transformational leadership and transactional leadership were positively linked to employee control feelings; Translation leaders are more likely to empower employees and involve them in decision making than business leaders.

As the first step in the employee empowerment journey, leaders must show that they appreciate employees by word of mouth, body language, and facial expressions regardless of what they are doing in their current job. Then the leadership can share the corporate vision and the mission. And strategic plans for their followers, so employees feel they are part of something bigger(Heathfield, 2019).

Any manager can involve in the team that reports to him when setting department-level goals and planning, which will be empowered those employees to shape their own functions without close supervision. The next most important element is the trust between the leader and the followers. The leader should believe that employees make the right decision and do the right thing. This can be improved by providing the manager's clear expectations, so the employee can focus on their task and accomplish results without worrying about second-guessing.

All the time Leaders should set their minds to view the problem as the system or a process, not the person. Running down subordinates will destroy the ability to decisions making which harms employee empowerment also. In transformation leadership, we do not see these characteristics. (Lee et.al., 2018). The employees should have continuous feedback on their performances as well as more clarity on what they have to deliver. The managers should have a will to listen to the employee and extend their help or guidance where ever they need it. The method of leadership will help to build an empowered employee who takes a risk in critical decision-making in a constructive way.

1) Awareness and involvement of corporate leaders in relationship-oriented transformational leadership practices

 2) Develop systematic leadership communication training programs to build an effective communication system and empowered culture, organizations can enhance employee empowerment and internal communication.

Several research proves that transformational leadership is the best leadership approach to motivate the employee. Find that transformational leadership influences the self-concept of followers and leads to empowerment. The social identity of the follower also determines the amount of empowerment Of the follower.
